Madre Leather was founded by Rocio C.L. “Luna”, whose journey into leather craftsmanship began in 2021 through a close collaboration with her best friend. What started as a shared project soon became a personal mission: to build a brand grounded in tradition, quality, and accessibility.

Committed to understanding the craft at its core, Luna travels repeatedly to León, Guanajuato, Mexico, the heart of artesanal leather. There, she immersed herself in a trade passed down through generations, shaping her vision of creating authentic, handcrafted leather goods that are durable, meaningful, and fairly priced.

For Luna, leather represents history, strength, and purpose. 

Based in South Park, San Diego, CA. Madre Leather moves forward with a clear vision: to redefine accessible luxury through pieces that tell stories and accompany women and men as they pursue their goals.
